| One Flesh: Shamanic Practices for the 21st Century |

James Endredy |
James will present and teach shamanic practices suitable for the healing of many of the crises we face in the 21st century. Rejecting the consumer/industrial world view and the spiritual deadness that accompanies it, these practices lead to a fundamental shift in consciousness - first, by becoming aware of the sacred natural world and our role within it, and next by forging a spiritual alliance with the sentient forces that sustain our planet. Through using these powerful ceremonies, sacred rituals, and everyday practices, we can transform our lives as we help to save the world. Goals: Sharing of shamanic practices that lead to perceiving the world as a single living tissue encompassing all phenomena in a mutually informative and reciprocating body. This powerful shamanic state of consciousness is available to all of us and one that can help with many of the crises faced by our modern society. Learning Objectives: learn to employ the shamanic art of counter-practice to shift our view of reality toward unity and balance, learn to use specific ceremonies and rituals including shamanic dance, pilgrimage, offerings, chanting, rites of passage, and connection to the fundamental essences and energies that rule our world, and learn to meld the collective dream of humanity with the ongoing dream of the earth. |
