Many individuals want to contribute to the success of a workplace that recognizes and serves values similar to our own. Leaders recognize that to create "brand soul" you must create a work environment that reflects the values you want in the marketplace. The process of creating that environment internally is then mirrored in the process of creating your face to your customers and the community. Employee commitment has been challenged by organizational downsizing, reorganization, merger, and even the pressure to produce results and satisfy clients. These pressures have left employees frustrated, confused, overwhelmed, angry or depressed. This program explores some of the ways that organizations are reaching out and reconnecting to their people after significant change and challenge. They use various techniques for community building, large group real time change, and involvement of all employees in creating the organizational future. The process of renewal of commitment in the organization emphasizes five key processes which involve capabilities that must be developed by the organization to serve its employees. These are creating a meaningful vision, developing mindsets of possibility, generating personal power, building connection between people, and building capability for change. |
